Blank icons in IconX

For a while now, IconX has been causing blank icons (such as the "My Briefcase" icon on my desktop) to load as a blank template. The newest build of DesktopX was supposed to fix that (according to the history file), but it hasn't in my case. I wrote to Stardock support some time ago and it has been escalated to the developer, but I have not heard back from them yet. I was just wondering if anyone else is still having this issue and if you were able to find a workaround for it?

I am using version 3.00.041 of DesktopX and 1.00a.001 of IconX.

When that happens, you can open the icon in Icon Developer, save it in its own file, and change the shortcut icon to point to it. That seems to change the format of icons that don't work with IconX to a compatible format. It worked for me with the Itunes icon.
